We hope this finds you well and that you have come through this wearisome time with your health and spirit intact. We are very much looking forward to seeing you on your next visit.
During this unprecedented time, it’s understandable to feel concerned and even a bit anxious. We want to assure you that Mohawk Valley Endoscopy Center is prepared to keep you safe while you are visiting us. The health and safety of our patients, staff, and their families is of the utmost importance at Mohawk Valley Endoscopy Center. As healthcare providers, we are committed to providing the safest environment to all who enter the center.
Please know that our center is following all recommended guidance from public health authorities, including best practices for hygiene, infection control and medical professional team health. As always, we strictly adhere to proper disinfection techniques and meticulous infection control protocols. We feel confident in our ability to begin seeing patients and providing the exceptional care that you have come to expect and deserve.
Having said that, you may notice that efforts are still being made to keep you safe. You will be greeted at the door by one of our staff who will be screening all patients and staff as they enter. Please wear a mask, and expect to stop for your temperature screening and questions to help us confirm that you are well for your procedure. You will see that we have placed signage at the entrance asking patients to self-report any recent travel , fever or respiratory symptoms. The waiting room chairs in the waiting room are arranged in a manner that is conducive to social distancing and we have removed magazines to discourage potential unwanted contact. You may also notice that a “no guests” policy in the clinic areas has been implemented. Only the patient will be allowed in the facility, with an exception of one person to assist the patient if medically necessary. You will need one healthy visitor with you to drive you home, but they will be asked to wait in the car.
Please understand that we are taking all these steps to keep you, your family and our employees safe during this time. We are working diligently to ensure you receive the level of care you’ve come to expect from our health care team.
